Need set walls for a shoot? We rent finished, freestanding wall flats for photo and video productions, staging, brand activations, and pop-ups — rigid, camera-ready, and finished on both sides. They stand on their own with no jacks, braces, or sandbags, so nothing touches the venue — and we deliver, install, and strike it all down. Based in Brooklyn; NYC service, ships nationwide.

THE DIFFERENCE

Wall flats that stand on their own — literally

Traditional set flats arrive raw: you truck them yourself, then spend load-in day jacking, bracing, sandbagging, and painting. That works on a soundstage with a full art department. It doesn't work in a Manhattan loft, a gallery, or a venue that won't let you brace into their floor.

Our wall flats are different by design. Each panel is a finished, rigid, freestanding wall — clean seams, finished on both sides, no visible bracing on the camera side. They stand without jacks or attachment to the building: no rigging, no venue damage, nothing for a location manager to object to. When the shoot wraps, we strike them without a trace.

WHO RENTS THEM

Productions, stagers, galleries & pop-ups

Photo and video productions shooting on location. Set decorators and stylists staging interiors. Galleries and pop-ups that need scenic walls without a build crew. Brand activations where the wall is the set. Trade-show exhibitors who want a real wall, not a pipe-and-drape apology. If a camera, an audience, or a client is going to look at it, it's our kind of job.

BUILT FOR SET LIFE

Built for how productions actually work

Camera-ready on arrival. Finished surfaces in your spec — no paint call, no drying time eating your schedule. Colors and branding prepared before delivery.

Our crew installs. Delivery, on-site setup, and breakdown are included. Most NYC installs go up the same day.

Freestanding = venue-safe. Classified as furniture — nothing touches the walls, floors, or ceiling of the location. No permits, no patch-and-paint on the way out. COI available upon request.

Modular footprints. Straight runs, corners, T-shapes, standalone backdrops, curved walls — configured to your floor plan and your lens. Need to re-block between setups? Our rolling walls move to the next mark and lock in place.

STRAIGHT TALK

An honest note on raw flats

If your production has its own art department and you just need bare flats to paint yourself, we're not the cheapest option — a raw flat rents for a fraction of a finished wall, and that's the right tool for that job. Where we earn our rate is everything the raw flat doesn't include: finish, rigidity, freestanding engineering, delivery, install, and strike. One line item, one crew, zero surprises at load-out.

SIZES

Sizes & configurations

Straight runs, corners, T-shapes, curved walls, and full enclosures — custom-built to your exact dimensions in our Brooklyn shop, with adjustable leveling legs for floors that are never quite level, and full height without anchoring to the ceiling. Tell us the footprint and the look; we'll spec the rest.

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these traditional set flats?

No. Traditional set flats are raw, unfinished frames you paint, jack, and sandbag yourself. Ours are finished, freestanding panels — camera-ready on arrival, standing on their own with no attachment to the venue.

Do you deliver and install?

Yes — delivery, install, and breakdown by our own crew are included in every rental. Most NYC jobs go up the same day.

Can the walls be painted or branded?

Yes. Finishes, colors, and branding are prepared to your spec before delivery. Tell us what the camera needs to see and we build to it.

Do we need a permit or venue construction approval?

No. The walls are freestanding and classified as furniture — no construction, so nothing to permit and nothing for the venue to approve beyond load-in logistics. COI available upon request.

How much does a wall flat rental cost?

It depends on the footprint, finish and length of the rental. Request a quote and we'll send a custom estimate within 24 hours.

Renting set walls for a shoot?

Send us your location, dates and footprint — we'll send a custom rental quote within 24 hours.
