Art Display Panels That Stand On Their Own

A freestanding wall built to hang real work on — in a gallery short of wall, a fair booth with none at all, or a lobby nobody is allowed to touch. Nothing drills into the room and nothing anchors to the building. Delivered, installed and struck — NYC and nationwide.

The wall the venue doesn’t have

Most rooms that host art were never built to show it. A fair booth arrives as bare floor and a number taped to the ground. A loft has brick on three sides and glass on the fourth. A lobby has a building manager who will not allow a single hole.

So the show shrinks to fit whatever wall the room happened to come with. The wall is the cheapest part of an exhibition and the part that decides how much of it you can actually hang.

The wall behind the work

A 1W2R art display panel is a flat, plumb, freestanding surface built to carry hung work. The wall stands on its own feet, so nothing is drilled or anchored into the room — and venue rules about fixing to the building never come up.

What the panels do

Freestanding

Nothing touches the venue — no rigging, no drilling, no ceiling points. Landlord-safe, venue-safe, deposit-safe.

Any length, straight or cornered

4-ft modules build a single panel beside a doorway, or a 40-ft run that turns a corner into a room.

Up in hours, out when the show ends

We deliver, install and strike — usually inside a morning.

Reusable

Rent it for the run of the show, or buy the wall and re-hang it for every show after that.

Gallery, fair, studio, lobby — one system

Gallery exhibition

More hanging wall than the room came with.

Art fair booth

Full-height panels inside a bare booth footprint.

Open studio

A clean surface in a working space, up for the weekend.

Lobby & corporate showcase

A show in a building that allows no holes.

Juried & student show

Enough wall for every accepted piece.

Pop-up exhibition

A gallery in a space that was not one last week.

Real installs — galleries, fairs and lobbies

The walls arrive finished, stand on their own, and carry the work at full height. Nothing is fixed to the building — no anchors, no rigging points, and nothing left behind when it goes.

The same panels that carry the work also divide the floor, so one system makes the viewing wall, the booth and the room behind it.

Your work. Our wall.

We do not frame, print or hang the work — and that is deliberate. Your framer, printer and installer already know your pieces. We supply the wall that lets them do their job in a room that had none. Already have a framer and an installer? Perfect. We size the wall to your space.

We build the surface and leave the curation to you.

Where it works

Hotels ban rigging. Landlords ban holes. Lofts have nothing to hang from. A freestanding display wall needs none of it — which is why our walls have stood at the Metropolitan Pavilion, the Rainbow Room, Nasdaq, the United Nations, Storied NYC, the IAC Building and Future Fair — and why clients like the Aperture Gala, FiscalNote and the Kairos Society keep bringing them back.

Rent it for the show, or own it

Rental: $650 per 4x8 wall, per event — delivered, installed, and struck. It is the same system behind our event partition rentals and event backdrop & display walls.

Own it for $1,176 — and re-hang the same wall for every show after that. Custom sizes quoted same day, and the walls ship nationwide. Planning the whole room, not just one wall? Start at the event planner hub or the event walls product page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hang artwork directly on the panels?

Yes — straight onto the panel face, the same way you would hang on a gallery wall. Tell us what the work is and how it hangs when you ask for a quote, and we spec the wall around it.

Do you frame, print, or hang the work?

No — we build the wall. Your framer, printer and installer handle the work itself. That keeps the people who know your pieces in control of them. Read the pipe and drape comparison.

Will the gallery or venue allow it?

Yes — it is freestanding furniture. Nothing attaches to walls, floors, or ceilings, so venue rules about rigging and drilling do not apply.

How big can it go?

From a single panel beside a doorway to a 40-ft-plus run, straight or cornered — built from modular sections. Enough to build a room inside a hall, or one clean surface where there was none.

How fast is setup and strike?

Typical walls install in under two hours and strike the same day the show comes down.

Can I rent for one show, or keep them?

Yes. Rent it for the run of the show, or own the wall for $1,176 and re-hang it for every exhibition after that one.
